America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League is a spin-off of America’s Got Talent that premiered on Jan. 1, 2024. In this version, each judge competes against each other by leading a team of 10 acts that they drafted from across the AGT universe. Judges mentor and guide the acts throughout the competition so that an act from their team will be crowned the AGT: Fantasy League champion. The judging panel consists of longtime AGT judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, as well as seasons 8-13 judge Mel B. Terry Crews also returned as host.
The show’s new format is similar to that of The Voice, which allows fans to determine the winner. Fantasy League is also getting fans involved in the process, so read on to see if you can vote for the winning act on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.
AGT: Fantasy League‘s voting system explained
Can you vote for America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League? Certain fans can vote their favorite acts through to the semi-finals and finals, but that power belongs solely to the “Superfans,” a pre-selected group of audience members who attend the live tapings of the show and represent “the viewers at home.” Although viewers watching the show at home can’t choose the winner, they were able to play a part in determining which acts got to compete in the auditions. Prior to the show’s premiere, fans were able to vote online for the Top 40 acts across the America’s Got Talent universe, choosing from a slate of 60 eligible acts.
Now that the show has commenced, the Superfan vote is in action. During the auditions, the Superfans determined which 20 acts earned a spot in the semi-finals. Following semi-finals, which will conclude on Feb. 5, the audience will send 10 acts to the final. The judges also get a say, as each judge has two Golden Buzzers (one for auditions and one for semi-finals), which they can use to send one of their acts straight to final or to steal an act from another judge’s team. The Top 10 acts will compete one last time during the two-part finale, set to air on Feb. 12 and Feb. 19, before the live audience decides who the winner of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League is.
